Riff Raff Entertainment was founded by BAFTA Award-winning and Academy Award-nominated actor Jude Law and his creative partner, Ben Jackson. Riff Raff has recently wrapped production in New York City on BLACK RABBIT, a major new Netflix TV series developed by Riff Raff alongside creators Zach Baylin and Kate Susman, starring Jude Law and Jason Bateman, who also serves as lead director.
Riff Raff has also completed THE ORDER, a major new film from acclaimed director Justin Kurzel, also written by Zach Baylin. The film premiered in competition at Venice Film Festival 2024, with its North American premiere immediately afterwards at TIFF. The film has received rave reviews thus far, for both filmmaking and acting, and is awaiting US theatrical release in early December with Amazon handling global release. Justin Kurzel also re-teamed with Riff Raff again for the final episodes of BLACK RABBIT.
THE ORDER marks a return to Venice for Riff Raff after their film TRUE THINGS premiered there in 2021. The film, directed by BAFTA-winning female director Harry Wootliff, starred Ruth Wilson and Tom Burke and was produced for BBC Film and BFI. Based on Deborah Kay Davies’s book, which Law and Jackson originally optioned, the film received critical acclaim and was released in 2022 by Picturehouse Entertainment.
Upcoming productions include a Sharon Horgan-scripted contemporary romantic drama film set in London, a historical-drama film penned by Justin Kuritzkes, and a major new TV drama scripted by SUCCESSION and BETTER CALL SAUL writer Jonathan Glatzer. It is also commissioning original work from an array of exciting and varied talent including Kirstie Swain (PURE, SWEETPEA), Temi Wilkey (SEX EDUCATION, WEDDING SEASON), Marek Horn (DISNEY+: RIVALS), and acclaimed playwright Chris Urch.
Riff Raff was awarded multi-million pound investment from Calculus Capital in 2022. In 2024, Riff Raff Entertainment signed a major new TV first look deal with Newen Connect.
